Free Challenge and Tournament Accounts
Alongside the paid Challenge we issue two kinds of no-cost account: a Free Challenge Account, so you can try the platform and the rules before you buy anything, and a Tournament Account, issued for a competition we announce with its own dates and prize list. Both are simulated, exactly like every other account here.
10.1 · Which rules apply
Everything in §1 to §8 applies while you trade one of these accounts, with the exceptions listed in 10.2. That is the point of them: the limits are the real limits, the platform is the real platform, the costs are the real costs, and the Best-Day Rule is measured the same way. In particular the prohibited practices in §5 apply in full, and a Hard Breach ends the account exactly as it would end a paid one.
10.2 · What does not apply
- No payouts and no funding. There is no Payout Cycle, no High-Water Mark, no Profit Split and no Scaling. Passing a Free Challenge Account does not issue a Funded Account.
- No fee and no refund. Nothing was paid, so there is nothing to refund. A Challenge won as a prize is likewise issued at no charge and carries no fee refund – the refund in §4 is the return of a price you paid.
- No add-ons. The add-ons in §9 are not available on these accounts and cannot be bought onto them.
- A time limit. Unlike the paid Challenge, these accounts expire on the date published for the offer or the tournament. When the period ends the account closes, whatever its result.
- One per person. One Free Challenge Account per person, and one Tournament Account per person per tournament. We verify by e-mail address, phone number, payment identity where one exists, and device and network fingerprints.
10.3 · Tournaments
Each tournament is announced with its own registration window, trading window, account size and prize list, published before registration opens and fixed for the duration of that tournament. Two things hold for every one of them:
- The ranking is gated on the Best-Day Rule. Entrants are ranked by Total Profit over the trading window, but only entrants whose Best-Day Score is 40 % or lower (D.23, D.24) are eligible to place.
- Entries stand or fall on their own. Multiple entries by one person, entries coordinated between people, copy trading between entrants and any other practice in §5 void every account involved and forfeit every prize, before or after it is awarded. Where a prize requires identity verification, it is verified before the prize is issued.
We may cancel or re-run a tournament if a platform fault materially affects the result. If we do, we say so publicly, with the reason.
